A Catalogue of English Books Printed Before 1801 Held by the University Library at Göttingen

Through the evaluation of the relevant sources, the catalog becomes a document about the development of the library as a research institution and about the scientific interests guiding this development, about private collections that were taken over into the university library, as well as about the booksellers involved in the development (and their performance) in Germany, the Netherlands, and especially in London.
